Role Overview
The US Sales Operations Manager will play a critical role in driving operational efficiency and effectiveness within the sales organization. Reporting to the Director of Sales Strategy and Operations, this position will be responsible for managing and optimizing sales processes, tools, and reporting in the United States. The role will also focus on creating governance and structure within US sales operations to ensure scalability and long-term success. As the go-to person for daily sales activities, the US Sales Operations Manager will support the team to efficiently and effectively close deals. Success in this role requires a data-driven mindset, adaptability in a fast-paced environment, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.

Sales Operations and Enablement
- Enhance and optimize the use of Salesforce CRM to ensure data integrity, compliance, and actionable reporting
- Support the end-to-end sales process, including pricing, contracting, and post-sales support
- Identify, implement, and lead process improvements to enhance sales efficiency and reduce friction
- Streamline sales workflows and improve tool utilization across the US sales team.
- Develop and implement governance structures and processes to create scalable and efficient US sales operations
- Create and structure processes tailored to the unique needs of the US market and the variety of solutions offered, ensuring they are communicated effectively through dynamic documentation or other adaptable formats
- Establish and refine operational procedures to support growth and consistency across the organization
- Leverage strong SQL and analytical skills to analyze large datasets, discover patterns, and generate actionable insights
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key sales performance metrics, including volume, profitability, and funnel health
- Provide data-driven recommendations to support strategic decision-making and sales planning
- Act as the primary point of contact for daily sales operations in the US, assisting sales leaders and account managers with tools, processes, and resources to close deals efficiently
- Provide operational support for proposals, pricing, and contract management to help drive successful deal closures
- Break down complex problems to identify root causes and propose practical, scalable solutions
- Balance priorities effectively, focusing on what’s possible while addressing high-priority issues with clarity and efficiency
- Adapt to evolving business goals and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Build strong cross-functional relationships and maintain excellent interpersonal communication with a wide range of stakeholders
- Actively contribute to team discussions and initiatives, fostering a collaborative and solutions-oriented culture
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Engineering, or a related field
- 5 years of experience in sales operations, business analysis, sales, business strategy, or a related role, preferably in the energy, utilities, construction, or technology industries
- Strong proficiency in Salesforce CRM, SQL, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Demonstrated ability to analyze large datasets, generate insights, and develop actionable recommendations
- Proven track record of process improvement and implementing scalable solutions in a sales organization
- Experience supporting the sales process, including preparing proposals, conducting analyses, and contributing to successful deal closures
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization
- Resourceful and resilient, with a demonstrated ability to persevere in the face of challenges and adapt to shifting priorities
- A proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, paired with a results-driven approach and a strong ability to build relationships and drive operational success
