Job Summary:

This is a key role responsible for the expert installation of a wide range of residential and commercial HVAC systems, ensuring adherence to the highest quality standards, safety regulations, and manufacturer specifications. The ideal candidate will possess extensive installation experience, a thorough understanding of HVAC system design and functionality, and the ability to work independently and lead installation projects.
Responsibilities:
- Perform expert-level installation of various HVAC equipment, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ventilation systems, ductwork, and related components.
- Ensure all installations are performed in accordance with local codes, manufacturer specifications, and industry best practices.
- Accurately interpret blueprints, schematics, and installation manuals.
- Perform system start-ups, testing, and commissioning to ensure proper operation and optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot installation issues and implement effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, including equipment details, wiring diagrams, and start-up procedures.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, other tradespeople, and occasionally with customers.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced installation technicians as needed.
- Ensure proper handling and disposal of materials and refrigerants.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in HVAC equipment installation, with a strong emphasis on complex residential and/or commercial systems.
- Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC system design, airflow principles, and ductwork installation.
- Demonstrated ability to expertly install and troubleshoot a wide variety of HVAC equipment.
- Excellent understanding of relevant building codes and safety regulations.

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
