Anthology Events is seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as a Banquet Bartender. Candidates must have a friendly and professional demeanor, work well on a team, and be comfortable on their feet for several hours at a time.
Additional duties include but are not limited to:
Serves drinks while maintaining a clean and sanitary bar area.
Strong attention to detail and presentation of each order.
Prepares and maintains ingredients by following recipes.
Prepare fresh garnishes for drinks.
Stock ice, glassware, and paper supplies.
Adheres to proper alcohol handling, sanitation, and safety procedures, and maintains appropriate dating, labeling, and rotation of all beverage items.
Coordinates daily supply inventory for the bar and submits orders to supervisor; assists with receipt of deliveries.
Ensures smooth operation of bar services during absence of manager.
Completes cleaning according to daily and weekly schedules, including dishwashing as needed.
Experience and expertise in fine dining service styles including set-up and breakdown.
Polished presentation and communication with VIP clients and management..
Full knowledge of event operations, menu, and policies.
Problem- solvers with the ability to manage a bar in the absence of a manager.
Create a detailed “Pull and Polish” list prior to events.
Understands how to read and articulate BEOs
Required Skills and Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 3 years of Banquet bar or restaurant bartending including drink preparation and batching.
Accurate knowledge of Classic Cocktails and Wine.
Current beverage service certification or other certification as required by federal/state/local law.
Familiar with point-of-sale computers and software.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Maintain high energy throughout events amongst clients and staff.
Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods of time.
Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
