What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender- Le Suprême position at Method Co.?
Le Suprême, will offer all-day French fare in the brasserie’s elegant dining room, alfresco, in the restaurant’s bar or within its 12-seat private dining room. Enter off Washington Boulevard or through The Rotunda to indulge in a menu comprised of Parisian specialties as well as fresh pastries, breads and desserts from the adjoining patisserie and boulangerie. Le Suprême’s full-service bar will also offer a curated cocktail program and a selection of over 300 world-class wines and champagne.
Bar Rotunda, will serve as an all-day cafe and wine bar, with coffees, pastries, small plates, wine and cocktails offered at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Canopied by The Rotunda, Book Tower’s marble arched atrium and 100-year-old Kamper-glass skylight, the design and service are inspired by the grand cafés and venerable hotel bars of early twentieth-century Paris.
As a chef needs to be knowledgeable of their product and a resource for all staff members in selling product, the Bartender team is required to be the most knowledgeable resource on all beverage menu items: Wines, cocktails, spirits, and beer. The bartender team will be the cornerstone to anchoring Le Suprême and Bar Rotunda's, dining experience.

Bartender Job Responsibilities:
- Set up bar, prep product to match covers plus 5% over
- Greet all guests that approach bar, even during off hours
- Provide guidance and clear instruction to barbacks on expectations and needs for the shift
- Include an element of staff education for every lineup
- Offer full service to guests at the bar, should they like it, incorporating established service standards that guests in the dining room should expect.
- Manage service well drinks and strive for a 4-minute ticket time
- Own and manage rotation of clean and polished glassware
- Properly handle cash and closing guest tabs
- Keep a clean and properly rotated bar, using older product before moving into fresh prep. Quality check all day old stock before using.
- Work clean, as all service areas are within full view of guests.
- During down time, checking off cleaning duties on weekly cleaning schedule
- On shift change, making sure to restock before clocking out
- At end of night, performing closing duties to completion

Working Conditions/Environment
- The person having this position may have to stand and/or walk, push, kneel, bend, balance, squat, reach and stretch for eight to 10 (8 to 10) hours per day.
- Agility in executing fast-paced movements to navigate different areas of the property efficiently.
- The person having this responsibility may have to move, pull, carry, or lift objects weighing at least 50 pounds.
