POSITION SUMMARY
A Processing Technician is tasked with assisting in processing, packaging, storage, and transfer of all Labs inventory. This position is responsible for executing established work processes to guarantee that Methods standard operating procedures are followed. The Processing Technician is also expected to assist in maintaining accurate records related to material received from post-production, packaging, lab sampling, product creation, and any steps required by company policy or state regulation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Perform physical count of inventory.
- Be familiar with packaging procedures, including weights, taring, batches, and labeling.
- Become familiar with relevant state and local cannabis laws and regulations.
- Fold product tips by hand and with the assistance of equipment
- Weigh and record inventory weights.
- Package lab inventory
- Operate washing machine, blunt production equipment, and cannabis centrifuge.
- Identify and report any and all discrepancies.
- Collaborate with lab staff to maintain a productive work environment.
- Communicate quality concerns to the Lab Manager.
- Be able to implement guidance from the sales department on quality standards.
- Assist in new technician training.
- Destroy marijuana waste, according to state regulation and company procedure.
- Maintain a clean working environment.
- Other duties as assigned
RECORD KEEPING
A Processing Technician is expected to be familiar with and assist in maintain records related to:
- Weights of material received
- Batch information, including weights, ID#s, strain and product types
- Lab sampling status
- Field sample logs
- Waste tracking
- Any other specific record keeping required by regulations or requested by management
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Proper employment documentation and authorized to work in the US
- Ability to analyze and solve problems
- Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork.
- Ability to intake, organize, and package material.
- Basic knowledge of spreadsheet software
- Manual Dexterity: Ability to handle small, delicate objects with precision and care.
- Trustworthy, punctual with great written and verbal skills.
- Must be licensed to work with cannabis in the state of Oklahoma
