POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a dedicated Transporter to join our team at a cannabis facility. Transporters are tasked with delivering and picking up company products, samples, supplies, cash, and inventory. Transporters are responsible for maintaining their assigned vehicles and complying with all state laws and regulations while on the road with the product. Transporters will be responsible for maintaining accurate delivery manifests and upkeep of all vehicles and equipment related to the role.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Coordinate delivery planning with sales and other transporters to facilitate timely and efficient delivery
- Represent our company values in a customer service capacity. ( Cleanliness, orderliness, professionalism, service-mindset )
- Keep all tools related to transport in good condition, tracking maintenance where appropriate
- Verify and be familiar with compliance practices: manifests, invoices, package labels, totes, locks, GPS records
- Keep vehicles in working order and visually presentable
- Drive multiple hours and potentially long distances during shift
- Load and unload vehicle at origin and destination points
- Maintain security of cash and product
- Deliver cash and payments to multiple locations
- Maintain safe and clean work environment
- Must occasionally work nontraditional hours that may exceed 40 hours per week
- Assist inventory department with order fulfillment
- Perform other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Able to lift 50lbs
- High attention to detail
- Able to pass extensive background and credit check
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Must be punctual and conduct oneself in a professional manner
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a transporter agent card from OMMA and meet all other requirements to be able to meet the state requirements for transporting medical cannabis.
- Ability to manage high-stress situations and to be flexible and adaptable when a situation requires it
- Proper employment documentation and authorized to work in the US
- Ability to analyze and solve problems
- Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork
- Ability to intake, organize, and package material
- Clerical, word processing, and/or office skills
- Basic knowledge of spreadsheet software
- Trustworthy with great written and verbal skills
- Must be able to meet company requirements on a motor vehicle report
- Must be licensed to work with cannabis in Oklahoma, and must be able to obtain and maintain a transport license in the state of Oklahoma
