Location: Mobile Home Parks between Henderson and Buncombe Counties

Job Type: Full-Time (30-40 hours per week)

Salary: $24 per hour

Position Overview: The Maintenance Manager is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the necessary repairs and ongoing maintenance for a series of mobile home parks between Henderson and Buncombe Counties. The role demands extensive experience in home repair and maintenance, with a particular emphasis on mobile homes. The position will be responsible for scheduling, performing, and ensuring all maintenance tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities: Perform routine inspections of mobile homes and property to identify necessary repairs and preventative maintenance needs. Schedule and coordinate repairs for both emergency and non-emergency maintenance tasks, working closely with contractors and residents. Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of common areas, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and functionality. Ensure compliance with local codes and industry standards for mobile home repairs. Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and tools, ensuring all necessary equipment is available. Respond to repair requests in a prompt and professional manner. Provide clear communication and reporting on work completed and remaining tasks to upper management. Maintain accurate records for repairs, replacements, and inspections performed.

Qualifications: Extensive experience in home repair and maintenance, particularly with mobile homes. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and relevant equipment safely. Reliable transportation and the ability to travel between parks in Henderson and Buncombe Counties. Personal set of tools required. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Good organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and take initiative. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Working Conditions: Approx. 30-40 hours per week, Monday through Friday with occasional on-call hours for urgent repairs. Reliable transportation required to travel between properties.
