Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Management
- Oversee the inventory ordering, ensuring accurate stock levels across DTC and retail channels.
- Develop and implement inventory control policies to minimize stockouts and overstock situations.
- Monitor inventory performance metrics and report key insights to leadership.
- Manage inventory budgets and forecasts in alignment with business objectives.
- Address and resolve stock discrepancies, damaged goods, or other inventory issues.
- Supply Chain Optimization
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams/partners to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
- Analyze supply chain data to identify inefficiencies and implement cost-saving measures.
- Support product launches by coordinating inventory flow and demand planning for new SKUs.
- Develop strong relationships with suppliers to improve lead times and negotiate favorable terms.
- Evaluate current supply chain processes and recommend strategic improvements to support growth.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with e-commerce, retail, and marketing teams to align inventory planning with sales forecasts.
- Partner with the product development team to anticipate demand for new product launches.
- Communicate regularly with warehouse partners to ensure timely fulfillment and smooth operations.
- Qualifications:
- Experience: 3–5 years of experience in inventory management, supply chain operations, or a related field, preferably in a consumer goods or retail environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business, or a related field.
- Skills:
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) and inventory management software.
- Advanced data analysis and forecasting skills with proficiency in Excel and/or BI tools.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage internal teams and external partners.
- Familiarity with supply chain operations for DTC and retail channels is a plus.
