VP of Paid Media

Our client, a fast-growing performance and growth marketing agency is seeking a dynamic and strategic VP of Paid Media to lead the paid media team and drive revenue growth for clients. This leadership role requires deep expertise in performance marketing, a proven track record of managing multi-million-dollar ad budgets, and the ability to develop innovative paid media strategies across a diverse set of clients. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with strong analytical skills and a passion for data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop and execute comprehensive paid media strategies to drive performance and growth for clients across channels including Google Ads, Facebook / Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Twitter, and emerging platforms.
  • Lead and mentor an experience paid media team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
  • Oversee campaign management, optimization, and reporting, ensuring alignment with client goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Leverage data analytics, audience insights, and A / B testing to optimize performance and maximize ROI.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including creative, content, SEO, and analytics to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to campaign performance.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and platform updates to inform strategy and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Manage and allocate multi-million dollar media budgets effectively, ensuring efficient spend distribution and performance analysis.
  • Establish strong relationships with clients, understanding their business objectives and providing strategic recommendations to enhance their campaign performance.
  • Partner with sales and business development teams to support agency growth by identifying new opportunities and pitching paid media solutions to existing and potential clients.
  • Develop thought leadership content and represent the agency at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.

Qualifications :

  • 10 years of experience in leadership roles at performance / growth marketing agencies
  • Proven success in managing large-scale paid media campaigns with a focus on performance marketing.
  • Strong understanding of key digital advertising platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn, Twitter, programmatic, etc.).
  • Expertise in data analysis, attribution modeling, and conversion rate optimization.
  • Proficiency in media buying, audience segmentation, and bidding strategies.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with experience in scaling high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to present complex data and insights clearly.
  • Experience with marketing automation tools, analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics), and reporting dashboards.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
