A fantastic opportunity has opened up with a leading Ag Retailer serving the Bedford, IN area. This role boasts a significant existing book of business, providing the perfect platform for a motivated individual to earn substantial commissions. This position requires someone with some experience who can jump right in and ideally, someone local to the area, although this is not a deal-breaker. With the potential to double your salary in commissions and more if done right, this opportunity won't stay open for long.

Job Description

  • Develop an intimate understanding of the customer's business and create strategies to partner with customers to help grow their business.
  • Engage and maintain relationships with team members to deliver value-added services and position the company as the customer's desired retailer.
  • Develop innovative solutions for customers that support and improve current product and service offerings.
  • Follow and execute the company sales strategy.
  • Work with locations to ensure the successful and timely delivery of products/services to customers according to their specifications.
  • Generate sales for the company according to specified targets.
  • Listen to customers to gain an understanding of their needs.
  • Identify key influencers and decision-makers within customer relationships and develop action plans to deepen these relationships.
  • Utilize sales technology effectively to track progress, update sales goals, and track results.
  • Assist in developing and executing the company's marketing strategy.
  • Manage complaints and conflicts with customers effectively.
  • Collaborate with fellow employees in the region to meet customer needs and expectations and provide excellent customer service.
  • Demonstrate good relationship-building skills.
  • Contribute as a strong team member and work to grow sales within the assigned area.
  • Forecast key account metrics.

Salary:

  • $80,000 - $90,000/year
  • Commission: $10,000 - $130,000

Qualifications

  • B.S. Degree in Agriculture, Ag Business, or a related program.
  • Three to five years of sales experience (required).
