Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid. Need locals only)
JD - Salesforce DevOps Engineer
We are looking for a skilled Salesforce DevOps Engineer to automate and manage Salesforce deployment processes using GitLab and CI/CD pipelines. You will work closely with development teams to streamline workflows, ensure efficient deployments, and maintain the health of Salesforce environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Automate and manage Salesforce deployments across all environments using CI/CD pipelines.
Integrate GitLab with Salesforce tools for streamlined source control and deployment.
Write scripts for automation and optimize release processes.
Troubleshoot deployment issues and ensure optimal performance.
Ensure compliance with security best practices and Salesforce deployment guidelines.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in Salesforce development/administration with a focus on DevOps.
Strong knowledge of GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, and source control management.
Experience using DevOps tools (e.g. GIT, Jenkins, SonarCube, Salesforce DX, etc.), Service or Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Mobile preferred
Proficient in Salesforce CLI, Salesforce DX, and automation scripting (Bash, Python).
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I/II) and GitLab certifications are a plus.
Ability to articulate (verbally / visually) ideas, approach, concepts, options, risk, impact, and provides guidance to technical, non-technical, and Leadership audiences
Ability to work on multiple assignments, whether administrative or project related, while maintaining a successful level of completion in all responsible work
Experience in SFDX Source, MDAPI Project structures and deployments
Experience in implementation of Scripts for Post Deploy, Pre deployment changes and test data push to sandboxes
