Job Summary
The CT Tech will be responsible for operating computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work accurately under pressure.
Responsibilities
- Operate computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
- Maintain cleanliness and inventory of CT rooms, including equipment and facilities
- Assist with data collection and review of dosewatch programs to ensure compliance with accrediting agencies and hospital goals
Requirements
- Registered Computed Tomography Technologist (RCT) certification or equivalent
- Ability to operate complex equipment and software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
