- Performing specimen processing and testing independently for moderate and high complexity testing ">
- Analyzing test results and assuming accountability for accuracy ">
- Anticipating and evaluating the need for new methods, instrumentation, and technology ">
- Assuring compliance with accrediting agencies ">
- Managing assigned projects, including developing a plan, coordinating resources, and completing tasks within established time limits ">
- Understanding, performing, and practicing quality control management and preventive maintenance on equipment ">
- Demonstrating pro-active problem-solving skills and identifying areas for improvement ">
Requirements
">To succeed in this role, you should have an Associates degree and at least 5 years of experience in a Clinical Laboratory setting.
Licensure and certification requirements include MT(ASCP), MLS(ASCP), MT(AMT), MT(AAB), CLS(NCA), MT(HEW), MLT(ASCP), or MLT(HEW).
Certification can be waived for those with 10 years of lab experience.
