Job Overview:
This individual is responsible for performing sterile processing procedures that include, decontamination, cleaning, assembly, and transportation of medical instrumentation/supplies/equipment and ancillary services to all requesting departments as required, under the supervision of the SSP Leadership.
Required: Certifications/Licenses/Education:
Graduated from an Accredited Surgical Technology program or completed HSPA instrument of patient care certification program for CRCST/CIS or CBSPD.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a graduate from an accredited Surgical Technology Program as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or a Sterile Supply CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician)/CIS (Certified Instrument Specialist) or a CBSPD (Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution).
