Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Methodist Healthcare at Home. As a PRN Home Health Physical Therapist, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to patients in their homes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluations and treatment interventions within the scope of practice established by law and professional code of ethics.
- Assess and evaluate therapeutic/rehabilitative/functional status and participate in the development of the total plan of care.
- Provide purposeful and skilled therapeutic care at patients home, using procedures and techniques to produce a change in condition/function consistent with the physicians plan of care.
- Instruct patient/family/caregiver in the use of therapies, exercises, therapeutic appliances, and/or prosthetic devices to be used outside of therapy sessions.
- Prioritize caseload, determine daily staffing needs and coordinate assignments/handoffs.
Qualifications:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Licensed Physical Therapist.
- Drivers License.
- Bachelors Degree.
