Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain a sterile field during surgical procedures.
- Supply instruments and supplies to the surgeon as needed.
- Assist with gathering and preparing equipment and supplies for assigned procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with the perioperative nurse.
Requirements:
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) through the National Board for Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- One year of experience in a hospital setting as a surgical technologist preferred.
