Job Title : Early Childhood Teacher, 3s classroom

Salary Range : $18 - $22 per hour for qualified teachers and lead teachers

Hiring Range : $20 per hour for 7 point Lead Teachers

Position Overview :

We are seeking passionate and experienced Teachers to join our team, specifically focusing on children ranging from toddlers to four year olds. As a Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in creating a supportive and enriching learning environment where children can thrive socially, emotionally, and intellectually.

Responsibilities :

Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities to support the growth and development of children.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued and supported.
Establish strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues to promote open communication and collaboration.
Observe and assess children's progress, and provide feedback to support individualized learning goals.
Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Continuously engage in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices and stay current with best practices in early childhood education.

Qualifications :

Minimum of Child Care Credentials and an additional 6 semester hours in Early Childhood Education or Child Development.

Preference of Associate’s Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, and an equivalent amount of relevant education.

At least one (1) year of verifiable experience working with young children in a classroom setting.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with children, families, and colleagues.

Paid Holidays : MHC gives full-time employees paid holidays each year.

Vacation Leave : First partial calendar year of hire is pro-rated at 10 days (80 hours) per year

Sick Leave : Paid sick leave is accumulated at 12 days (96 hours) per calendar year. All unused sick leave will carry over into the next calendar year.

Health Benefits : Employees may choose between the BCBS HealthCare Medical Base HSA Plan or Medical Buy-Up HSA Plan. Dental and Vision plans are also available.

Life Insurance : Term life insurance is provided by MHC for full-time staff in the amount of $75,000. Supplemental life insurance is available for individual or family coverage.

Workers’ Compensation : This agency-paid benefit covers on-the-job injury.

403B Plan : Employees can contribute to a tax-deferred annuity plan; MHC matches a portion of the contributed funds.
