About the Role
The Education Coordinator is responsible for ensuring a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for children while supporting and supervising staff. This role involves:
✔ Coaching and modeling best practices in early childhood education
✔ Maintaining high-quality classroom standards (DCD, ECERS, ITERS)
✔ Supporting teachers with curriculum planning and professional development
✔ Facilitating communication between staff, administration, and families
✔ Coordinating staffing schedules to ensure optimal ratios
Qualifications
Education: NC Early Childhood Credentials (I & II) 12 semester hours in ECE or Bachelor’s degree in ECE/Child Development (preferred)
Experience: 3 years working with young children, including those with special needs
