Engagement Specialist
Department: Residential Services
Starting Pay: $43,000 - $48,000 (based on experience and education)
Are you passionate about helping youth navigate the juvenile justice system? Methodist Home for Children is seeking Engagement Specialists to work closely with juveniles and their families, providing guidance and support as they prepare to participate in their court cases. Positions will be located in the following service areas: Eastern NC, Central NC, Piedmont NC, Western NC
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and implement Individualized Service Delivery Plans (ISPs) for youth.
- Deliver the Remediation Curriculum to help juveniles engage effectively in their legal proceedings.
- Communicate with families, court counselors, and community resources to ensure a strong support system.
- Maintain detailed case records and provide timely program updates.
What You Need:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- 2 years of experience working with juveniles and families (preferred).
- Strong communication, organization, and advocacy skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
