Job Description

Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Specialty : Telemetry

Job Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Rotating 7 : 00 AM - 7 : 30 PM / 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM, 3 days a week

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week

Experience : Minimum 2 years hospital experience required, with Telemetry / Progressive Care Unit experience

License : Active Texas RN License (temporary licenses not accepted)

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIH

Must-Have :

2 years of hospital experience in Telemetry / PCU
Experience using Meditech is preferred

Job Description :

Provide high-quality care to patients in the Cardiac Decision Unit and be prepared to float to other areas including Med-surg / Tele / PCU as needed.

Participate actively in patient assessments, care planning, and treatment administration.

Utilize Meditech for documentation and patient management.

Adhere to the dress code : navy scrub top and pant, navy or white scrub jacket. Maintain clean and healthy nails, neat hair with no extreme styles or colors, and cover tattoos when possible. Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited.

Maintain certifications and complete any additional training as required by the hospital.

Be prepared to work collaboratively with unit staff including secretaries and techs to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Follow all attendance, floating, and conduct guidelines as set by the organization.
