Job Details
A hospital near Sacramento is looking for experienced ER nurses for a travel contract. The right candidate will have 2 years of experience, hold an active BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH and CA License.

Active PALS certification
Active NIHSS certification
Active California License
Schedule Information
12hr Nights
Every Other Weekend

Unit Specific Information
ED has an average of 160-220 visits a day.
Nurse : Patient Ratios : ICU Pt - 1 : 1 or 1 : 2, All other ED Pt's - 1 : 4.
Common diagnoses / types of patients include CP r / o MI, SOB, Sepsis.
ED Technicians perform EKGs as well as vitals and patient care.
RT is in the ER 24 / 7 and completes ABGs & breathing treatments.
Additional Details
Need 2 supervisory references (charge accepted) at submittal; 1 within 12 months & 1 within 3 years worked.
Modules are required to be completed before start; modules take 3-4 hours to complete and this time is not billable.
Unit has 24 hours to rescind offer.
Prior to acceptance, a dysrhythmia exam (basic) through UNA is required to be sent along with acceptance, to be completed within 24-48 hours.
