Job Summary and Qualifications
Seeking a Director of Cardiovascular Services for Methodist Hospital - Specialty & Transplant who plans, directs and supervises the operations of assigned areas. This includes management of staff, budgeting, equipment and service line strategic development for these areas. He / she is responsible for the quality of services, process improvements, and maintaining high standards of customer service for both internal and external customers to include physicians and their staff, patients / family members and the public. Methodist Hospital Specialty and Transplant has been nationally recognized for its record setting kidney, liver and pancreas transplant programs. It is home to the Texas Transplant Institute and is the largest living donor kidney transplant program in the US. According to the United Network of Organ Sharing database, the center reached a major milestone in 2019 by performing 231 living donor kidney transplants in a single year setting a new national record - thats 65 more transplants than the second center on the list.
