What You Will Do
- Coordinates research studies under the supervision of the Principal Investigator.
- Acquires and maintains data.
- Plans for and utilizes fiscal resources in a cost-effective manner.
- Carries out clinical patient assessment for specific clinical projects.
- Establishes, utilizes, and maintains effective communication systems within the Research Network.
- Develops and maintains quality initiatives for the Network.
- Analyzes data and prepares reports and presentations.
- Associate's Degree Nursing- RN required
- Bachelor's Degree Nursing- RN preferred
- 5-7 years Nursing required
- 1-3 years Clinical research preferred
- Good written oral and communication skills.
- Interpersonal skills with ability to successfully interact with physicians, other medical providers and associates.
- Demonstrates skills in conflict resolution and problem solving.
- Demonstrates ability to handle numerous simultaneous projects.
- High attention to detail demonstrated in clinical and contractual settings.
- Ability to work without close supervision and to exercise independent judgment.
- Ability to communicate complex technical material to physicians, other clinical Associates, and patients and their families both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to plan and schedule tasks and projects and to maintain control of own workflow by prioritizing projects.

- There are no supervisory or lead responsibilities assigned to this position.
- Frequent invasive and non-invasive patient contact.
- Exposure to patient body fluids as well as exposure to hazardous or poisonous materials.
- Ability to react quickly to emergency situations.
- Ability to handle and administer narcotics and investigational drugs as needed.
- The physical activities of this position may include climbing, pushing, standing, hearing, walking, reaching, grasping, stooping, kneeling and repetitive motions.
- The physical requirements of this position are: medium work-exerting up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently.
- Associate required to have close visual acuity including color, depth perception, and field of vision to perform an activity such as assessing patients, preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing, and viewing a computer terminal, or extensive reading.
