Job Summary and Qualifications
Responsible for performing comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders, diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, comprehensive patient care and direct patient education. Responsible for the use of equipment to minimize hazards and maximize patient safety and perform proper operation of all sleep lab equipment, scoring of sleep studies, and preparation of patients for sleep studies. Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development of the life span, the ability to assess data reflective of the status of neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient. Provides the care needed as described in the policies and procedures of the sleep lab.
