Methodist Rehabilitation Center has an immediate full time opening for a Nutritional Service Tech.
SHIFT:
- Hours may vary anytime between 6:00am - 7:00pm
- Full Time
BASIC FUNCTION:
- Primary responsibility will be to prepare and cook food
- Performs food delivery and service to the patients and café, takes care of all kitchen, dining, dish room needs
- Set-up, maintain, breakdown and clean up all areas
- Maintains a clean and sanitized work area including kitchen, café and dining
- Deliver patient meals and collect empty trays
- Unload delivery trucks
- Stock and rotate supplies
- Monitor all food temperatures to ensure they are in the correct range and replace as needed
- Monitors and cleans food service equipment
- Duties may also include cashier responsibilities
- Set-up and serve catered events as required
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Involves constant standing, pulling of carts and equipment
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds
- Must be able to endure heat
- Hours may be extended to meet the needs of the department
