We have an immediate opening for a PRNSecurity Officer to support our Safety and Security Department.
SHIFT:
- PRN - As Needed
BASIC FUNCTION:
- The Security Officer maintains a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors and staff
- Conducts patrols of building and grounds to detect security breaches, safety, and fire hazards
- Patrols each floor of the buildings and secures all unoccupied offices and areas
- Ensures buildings and occupants are maintained in a safe and secure environment
- Controls traffic in front of MRC to ensure parking for emergency vehicles, outpatients and visiting physicians
- Controls access of unauthorized personnel to restricted areas and closed offices when unoccupied
- Enforces all Security policies to ensure that unsafe conditions or activities are corrected
- Assist Safety Officer in hospital wide safety training
KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma
- Two years experience in Safety/Security or Law Enforcement
- Class D or above drivers license; CDL must be obtained within first year of employment
