We are currently seeking an experienced Physical Plant Director. The Physical Plant Director is responsible for the overall maintenance, repair, and operation of the overall building, grounds, equipment, and systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities management, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for our residents and employees. Other duties include :

• Developing, directing and executing preventative maintenance programs.
• Assuring compliance with local / state / federal regulations, including fire and life safety.
• Conducting audits and regular inspections, identifying needs and executing correction.
• Assisting with the development and directing Fire Safety and Disaster Preparedness Evacuation procedures.
• Negotiation and approval of vendor contracts / agreements, including ongoing relationships with vendors.
