The LVN will:
- Direct and coordinate activities of aides
- Perform basic daily nursing functions
- Administer proper medications
- Provide the nursing needs of our residents in an efficient, economical, and caring manner, while maintaining high standards and quality care

Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited vocational school of nursing and current Texas LVN license required.
- Training or experience in geriatric, psychiatric or medical/surgical nursing preferred.
- Knowledgeable of human development, including the processes of aging, and of social and health problems confronting older persons.

- Ability to recognize behavior deviations from the norm; to cope with all emergencies in a calm manner and to deal comfortably with chronically ill aged.
