Description
The Department of Social Work invites applications for a tenure track position as Assistant Professor. This appointment will begin January 2025. We seek an individual who is interested in being part of a student-focused team providing instruction in both traditional classroom and online formats. Primary responsibilities include a teaching load of 12 hours per semester involving courses such as Social Work Research, Practice, Policy, and Helping Processes. Other responsibilities include student advising, service to the university and community, and scholarly activity.

Qualifications
MSW in Social Work with teaching experience and two years post-MSW practical experience is required. Preference given to applicants with a doctoral degree and online teaching experience and to applicants with teaching and scholarly experiences that align with the Methodist University commitment to fostering equity and inclusion in all our university practices.
