Methuen Public Schools Teacher of the Visually Impaired for Extended School Year (ESY) Program VACANCY NOTICE THE AVAILABILITY OF THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON SUFFICIENT FUNDING AND ENROLLMENT TITLE: Teacher of the Visually Impaired for Extended School Year Program DATE OF OPENING: July 2025 QUALIFICATIONS: Licensed as a Vision Specialist/Teacher of the Visually Impaired by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education Demonstrates excellent teaching skills Evidence of excellent background and knowledge in the area of visually impaired and blind students, and a working knowledge of Braille Outstanding preparation and/or experience may be submitted for some of the above Mobility training preferred GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: To provide services for students with visual impairments SALARY: As per current contract, up to four hours per day, up to four days per week, up to six weeks (depending on assignment).
