Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team, responsible for delivering high-quality painting services in residential settings. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of various painting techniques and materials. This role requires proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as the ability to read blueprints and schematics to ensure precise execution of painting projects.

Duties

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and caulking as necessary.
• Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers.
• Mix paints and other materials to achieve desired colors and textures.
• Follow safety protocols while working on construction sites and ensure a clean work environment.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
• Perform trim carpentry tasks as needed to enhance the overall finish of painted areas.
• Read blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Conduct repairs on stucco surfaces as part of preparation for painting.

Experience

• Proven experience in residential painting is preferred.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and equipment used in painting and carpentry.
• Knowledge of frame carpentry and trim carpentry techniques is a plus.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics accurately.
• Experience working on construction sites is beneficial.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
