Independent Cleaning Contractor

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various environments, ensuring that all areas are sanitized and presentable. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties in assigned areas, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Ensure that restrooms are cleaned and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Dispose of waste and recyclables properly.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Assist with special cleaning projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Good physical stamina; ability to lift and move objects as needed.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings or weekends if required.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $14.53 - $20.00 per hour
