Independent Cleaning Contractor

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments, ensuring that all areas are well-kept and presentable. This role is essential for creating a safe and welcoming atmosphere for both employees and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties in assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and common spaces.
• Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to maintain cleanliness.
• Clean and sanitize surfaces, including countertops, tables, and equipment.
• Dispose of trash and recyclables in accordance with company policies.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
• Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Skills

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify areas that require cleaning or maintenance.
• Good time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and management.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $15.76 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 4 per week
