Metis Search is partnering with a leading Independent Investment Bank to expand their FIG M&A team in New York. We are seeking Senior Analysts and Associates with strong FIG M&A execution experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic advisory services to clients in the financial services industry.
- Conduct detailed valuation analyses of financial institutions, utilizing industry-specific metrics and methodologies.
- Assist in structuring M&A transactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and optimizing tax implications.
- Support negotiation processes, representing clients' interests to achieve favorable terms.
- Oversee due diligence activities, examining financial statements, regulatory compliance, and operational aspects to identify risks and ensure strategic fit.
- Collaborate with clients to raise capital for M&A transactions, leveraging a robust network and expertise in financial markets.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- 2 years of FIG-related experience in investment banking in either; Banks, Insurance, Asset Management, Specialty Finance, Fintech or Wealth Management
- Proven experience in conducting valuations, financial modeling, and preparing pitchbooks and CIMs.
- Demonstrated aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- Exceptional communication skills and executive presence, both verbal and written.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for excellence.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship of a work visa.
- Series 63, Series 79 required.
