What are the responsibilities and job description for the Infrastructure Transition Fund Private Investments VP-Director position at Metis Search?
An established Infrastructure Investment Fund with an expertise across Private Equity and Private Credit is looking to add a VP & Director with flexibility on location. The team is looking for Senior Investors with an established network along the West Coast and in or around Texas.
The fund is increasing its geographical coverage due to an uptick in deal activity in the US and will provide you with an opportunity to collaborate closely with its colleagues across Europe.
Candidate responsibilities:
- Reviewing potential investment opportunities
- Constructing appropriate deal structures to minimize risk
- Researching and drafting internal investment memoranda and presenting of recommendations to appropriate parties
- Monitoring of the fund’s portfolio to maintain a certain level of strategic growth
- Supporting the management and development of the junior team
Candidates must have:
- Bachelor’s degree, and/or an MBA from a top ranked institution
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience in Investment Banking and Investment Management
- Established network dedicated to the Renewables, Industrial Tech and Transition sector is essential across the West Coast and Texas.
- Financial modeling expertise
- High level of proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite
- Strong level of verbal and written communication skills
- Capability to manage multiple projects and work to strict deadlines
- Team player mentality and ability to operate independently
