Investment analysts at MIM are part of a global team responsible for managing components of an investment portfolio more than $591 billion. As a participant in the Investments Analyst Program, you will be able to make significant, meaningful contributions. You can help optimize our investment portfolio and
ensure that MetLife continues to keep it successful for the long term as it has for over 154 years.
Specifically, the Investments Analyst Program at MIM is a three-year program designed to give undergraduates interested in business and finance valuable "hands-on" experience in a real-world business setting. Analysts benefit from on-the-job training, online development tools and a culture that encourages continuing education. This program is intended to provide you the tools and opportunities to learn and succeed, with the goal of a long-term, rewarding career at MetLife.
Depending on staffing needs, candidates are typically hired for positions within Credit Research, Portfolio Management, Structured Finance, Trading and Asset Origination, Real Estate and Agricultural Investments, and Investment Management units. High-performing candidates will be considered for available permanent opportunities within MetLife Investment Management.
Majority of positions are available in Whippany, NJ or Philadelphia, PA and other roles are available throughout the US in our regional REI offices depending on need.
Requirements:
- Graduating senior students actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business related fields
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong computer skills (especially Microsoft Excel)
- Understanding of the financial markets
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Motivated team player with sound judgment and problem solving skills
