The Business Operational Readiness Lead is responsible for defining, communicating, and ensuring operational readiness for an Agile Release Train. They collaborate with Operational Readiness leads in other dependent ARTs to ensure end to end operational alignment and readiness on solution design, delivery, and readiness for production across epics, capabilities, and features. Collaborating with your Operational business partners, Business Solution Architects and Product Management, you help ensure the solution development meets the end-to-end business purpose and aligns to key business operational milestones and metrics.
You are responsible for identifying process and communication impacts for Epics and Capabilities, working with the Product Management and Owners in your ART to ensure operational readiness activities are properly defined, aligned, and completed based on the needs of the operational users.You partner across ARTs, Trains, and other Operational Readiness teams as needed to ensure the solution has met the acceptance criteria and ready to be released and/or used in production.Working with operations and business partners, you are responsible for establishing success measures / metrics and a process to monitor those measures prior to release.Once the changes are implemented, you work with the teams to actively monitor the metrics for success and provide those results and insights to the ARTs and Solution Train to inform any changes or enhancements needed to meet the business objectives.
In partnership with Product Management and Product Owners, you identify and respond to business opportunities by for simple design and rollout options based on solution capabilities, features and acceptance criteria.The Business Operational Readiness Lead is an active participant in system and solution demos to ensure the capabilities and/or features achieve their business purpose.They ensure business continuity of the process and flow changes and look more broadly at how incremental delivery is cohesive to the overall business objectives and key results.
The Business Operational Readiness Lead is a strong advocate of the business and continuously expands operational knowledge to ensure the ART and peers in other ARTs are achieving the right business outcomes and simplifying the processes that support these areas. Through consultative interactions, you understand the Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) that the business is trying to accomplish and ensure the solutions will achieve those targeted results. Leveraging relationship management and facilitation skills, you bring the right partners to the table from technology, product, business, operations, and other areas, and ensure the timelines for gathering and delivery of the operational outcomes are met. The Business Operational Readiness Lead gains a deep understanding of the end-to-end solution and the horizontal implications across the full experience we are trying to enhance. You proactively identify and address risks, being empowered to drive the right conversations and the right work.
