The candidate will be responsible for the design, development, testing and implementation of applications following the full systems development lifecycle (SDLC), primarily focusing on the IVA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participates in gathering user requirements and writing user stories
- Participates in technical design, development, implementation and maintenance of applications using existing and emerging technology platforms, with primary focus on IVA.
- Will have customer interaction, partnering with related lines of business and stakeholder relations.
- Collaborate closely with business partners and interface teams to clarify and fulfill requirements from design through acceptance and implementation.
- Designs and codes programs; creates test transactions and runs tests; conducts analysis of organizational needs and goals for the development and implementation of application systems. Monitors operating efficiency of existing application systems.
- Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems, including encoding, testing, debugging, and installing for a large-scale system. Maintains records to document program development and revisions.
- Provides technical support to technical vendor resources.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment and able to multitask, prioritize, and be detail-oriented.
- Performs related duties as assigned or requested.
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree required, prefer major in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 2 years of related work experience with a firm understanding of IVRs and programming languages (Java, Genesys, etc.)
- Integration experience through web services (SOAP and REST) and/or other technologies
- Excellent critical thinking and reasoning; must effectively communicate with peers across development groups and business units
- Experience with Agile Methodologies
- Adapt to changing priorities and effectively prioritize workflow to meet critical deadlines.
- 3-5 years of experience in IVR/IVA development
- Genesys Cloud Platform
- Microsoft Suite
- Microsoft Azure Experience
- Scrum, SAFe experience
The salary range for applicants for this position is $88,000 to $115,000.
