We are seeking a Marketing Consultant to help enable key content processes and capabilities that will enable growth for MetLife’s Group Benefits Regional Business (2-4,999 lives). You’ll become familiar with MetLife’s broad range of industry-leading core and voluntary products and solutions. You will partner across marketing, product, legal, and sales to drive efficient solutions, coordinating and executing on marketing needs with a focus on storytelling, and content management, design and development.
About the Role
The Marketing Consultant, Regional Business Group Benefits within the US region is responsible for helping to driving growth and differentiation among regional business distribution channels by developing and executing sales & marketing engagement strategies for B2B and B2B2C.
This role will assist the Regional Business Employer and Broker Marketing team by providing support for key marketing initiatives and partners closely with Business Unit (BU) leadership and cross-functional teams to help create and deliver on marketing strategies that incorporate multiple channels. The Marketing Consultant, Regional Business, reports directly to the Senior Marketing Manager, US Group Benefits Regional Business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supports the Group Benefits Regional Market Customer Marketing by managing the intake and assignment of marketing requests from the sales team
- Organize meetings and liaise with external partners
- Guide sales partners in developing stories for meetings with prospective and current clients as well as brokers
- Assist with developing PowerPoint presentations
- Editing of materials as needed (PPT presentations, executive summaries, video scripts)
- Provide reporting on status and effectiveness of marketing projects
- Proactively identifies process and project management improvements or enhancements to existing workflows
- Provide support on other marketing projects as needed (e.g. Assist with event planning and ordering of collateral)
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with solid project management experience
- Experience working with Workfront
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products with intermediate PowerPoint skills
- Demonstrated ability to meet delivery timelines and manage multiple stakeholder requests
- Strong active listening skills to understand stakeholder needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Team player with experience interacting with different functional areas and personality styles
- Self-starter with ability to make/contribute to recommendations, prioritize, manage and track multiple projects
- Bachelor’s degree preferred with a minimum of three years of experience in marketing-related jobs or project management/coordination positions
The salary range for applicants for this position is 73,000 - 80,000.
