Role Value Proposition:
The position is responsible for providing implementation, administrative, and customer service to group policyholders (employers), brokers, sales, and vendors on policies that have 2 to 99 employees under a new end-to-end platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinates and executes the implementation of Group Insurance Policies.
- Coordinates and executes plan change requests and policy amendments.
- Coordinates and executes billing inquiries and policy-related inquiries.
- Executes business testing scripts when new system capabilities are delivered.
- Assists with premium reconciliations.
- Acts as liaison between client and internal MetLife areas.
- Comprehends and communicates the provisions of MetLife Core Products (Life, Dental, Disability, and Vision) and Voluntary Products (Critical Illness, Accident, Hospital, and Legal)
- Ability to handle high transaction volumes on a daily basis.
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
Required:
- Ability to communicate clearly, timely, and professionally both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service and relationship management.
- Ability to work in a team environment and assist other areas when needed.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks, set schedules, and prioritize to meet both internal and external deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Preferred:
- Typically has 2-3 years of experience.
- AAS or BS preferred.
