Responsibilities
- Deliver training programs on various technical topics, including virtualization, range creation, databases, identity and authentication services, and networking.
- Collaborate with content developers to help build out necessary course-related, student-facing objects like networks, frameworks, and other PCTE platform-related requirements.
- Instruct courses virtually, in person, or via hybrid format.
- Apply effective classroom management techniques to maximize student engagement and participation.
- Organize rosters and track student progress throughout the course delivery.
- Evaluate and grade student assessments and provide constructive feedback in final reports.
- Provide assistance for course maintenance to ensure training materials are accurate and up to date.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement.
Required Experience/Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science) or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in technical instruction, preferably in a technical or IT-related field, and delivery with virtual and in-residence methods.
- Familiarity with IT operations, VMware vSphere or NSX, Microsoft operating systems and Active Directory, Linux, Atlassian
- Jira/Confluence, Puppet or Ansible, and routing and networking is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of the technologies being taught.
- Proven experience in developing and delivering training programs.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Ability to effectively engage with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Preferred Experience/Qualifications
- Knowledge of or prior experience with PCTE.
- DevOps experience.
- CompTIA Security certification (or other DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification).
Special Requirements/Security Clearance
Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires U. S. Citizenship status and a TS/SCI security clearance. Security Clearance requirements will be specified in the Government's Task Order.
Occasional travel may be required (as part of a mobile training team) up to 25% of the time.
