What are the responsibilities and job description for the Debris Monitor position at Metric Consulting?
We are an Emergency Management Services company performing Field Debris Monitoring services for communities that have been impacted.
Field Debris Monitors audit and track contractor trucks (following them on their route to clear debris) as a representative of the government to ensure that loads are properly identified and tracked (you will not actually be removing debris but monitoring the workers who are doing so).
- Requires 10 hour days
- All hours worked over 40 in one week will be paid at time and a half.
- There is a high probability of consistent paid overtime as well as work for weeks to possibly months.
- On-the-job training will be provided.
Candidates MUST meet the following hiring requirements:
- Current Valid Driver's License
- Clean Driving History
- Valid Social Security card or Passport
- Proof of current Insurance (In Your Name) for vehicle being used
- Proof of Registration for vehicle being used
- Ability to pass a Criminal Background check
Additional work requirements:
- Reliable transportation available for all day use
- Cell Phone
- Steel Toe Work Boots
- Ability to be on your feet for most of the day
- Ability to lift 30 lbs.
