What You Get To Do
- Support VP of Sales, Exec team and partner with other key internal stakeholders the strategy of Engineering and lead the execution of the strategy across the Company
- Lead the engineering department with multiple engineering functions such as Design, Machinist Engineering Project Management, Process Safety, Mechanical and Rotating Equipment design, Technical/plant Services, Sales Support etc.
- Build a strong engineering system by implementing an effective management operating system (MOS) through all the engineering organizations.
- Provide project management for major engineering projects to ensure the projects are delivered on time and within the budget.
- Formulate long-term team objectives and performance standards to enable the career growth of team members.
What You Bring:
- BS degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
- 10 years of experience in Machinery, Bioprocess development, design, technical services, and customer services.
- Has worked in an environment of wood grinding and screening equipment available. Horizontal and Vertical Grinders, Hammermills, Disc Screens, Oscillating Screens, Vibrating Screens/Conveyors.
- Worked in markets such as bioenergy, biomass & biofuel, composting, cellulosic ethanol, wood pellets, food waste recycling, and plastics recycling is a PLUS.
- 5 years of management role for an engineering organization
- Experience in large engineering project management
- Ability to work proactively and independently with an energized team
- Team player with passion on sustainable development
