Metric Search have partnered with a Bay Area unicorn who are developing the high-performance real-time operating system, drivers, and middleware for a luxury OEM's next generation of software-defined vehicles.
As a result, they are currently looking to hire expert Embedded SW Engineers to join their team to design, develop & deploy embedded software applications at scale.
Responsibilities :
- Design and develop highly reliable, real-time embedded software solutions for next-generation software-defined vehicle infotainment systems
- Integrate third-party hardware components into a unified software architecture, managing low-level communications (e.g., CAN, LIN, I2C, SPI, UART etc.)
- Develop and deploy Embedded Linux & Android Automotive operating system applications, middleware enhancements & hardware abstraction layer customizations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deploy custom software on new devices, optimize it for production, and maintain long-term support for products
