Heavy Civil Estimator - North Carolina
I am currently supporting a leading GC that is seeking a detail-driven Estimator with a background in heavy civil construction to join a dynamic team.
About the Role
As an Estimator, you’ll be at the forefront of preparing precise and timely bids for significant Infrastructure projects. From performing quantity take-offs to building strong relationships with vendors and subcontractors, your contributions will directly impact the success of our bids and projects.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct in-depth quantity take-offs and cost estimates for projects involving concrete paving, earthwork, and structures.
- Collaborate with the estimating team to develop accurate project bids.
- Review and analyze project documentation, including plans, specifications, and subcontractor quotes.
What They're Looking For
- 1-5 years in estimating heavy/highway construction projects such as bridges, structures, underground utilities, and concrete paving.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word); knowledge of tools like Hard Dollar, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and HCSS is a plus.
- Hands-on operations experience is highly valued.
- Willingness to relocate for project needs.
