Metric Geo are partnered with a leading organisation to find an experienced Lead Substation Electrical Engineer to join their team. This is a great opportunity to work on major energy infrastructure projects in a hybrid role that offers flexibility and clear career growth.
We are looking for someone who can take the lead on substation design projects, covering distribution, subtransmission, and transmission voltage levels. You’ll oversee technical aspects, mentor junior engineers, and work closely with clients and vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead substation design projects, including physical design and protective relaying / control.
- Manage project schedules, resources, and coordination.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Conduct QA / QC reviews and ensure compliance with engineering standards.
- Collaborate with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to drive project success.
