I am collaborating with one of the nation's fastest-growing data center owners and developers as they expand their Preconstruction team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to multiple hyperscale projects across the United States, offering significant career advancement potential.
Key Responsibilities :
- Comprehend unit costs for various types of projects ($ / sf, $ / MW, etc.).
- Possess deep knowledge of all construction phases for new ground-up commercial buildings, including MEP, structural, and sitework.
- Gather proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents to develop accurate estimates.
- Create conceptual estimates and budgets from onscreen takeoffs and given programming information.
- Identify and evaluate labor, material, and time requirements for projects.
- Solicit and analyze quotes from subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
- Prepare comprehensive cost estimate reports.
- Conduct assessments to identify project-related risks.
- Prepare final estimates and RFPs for presentation to owners.
- Develop and maintain construction CPM schedules.
- Willingness to travel : 10-50%.
