A top general contractor in Savannah, GA is seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to oversee commercial and multi-family construction projects from pre-construction to closeout. This role is responsible for managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships while ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope. Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Execution: Lead all aspects of commercial and multi-family construction projects, ensuring alignment with project scope, schedule, and budget.
- Budget & Cost Management: Develop and track project budgets, process change orders, and ensure cost-effective resource allocation.
- Scheduling & Coordination: Create and maintain project schedules, ensuring seamless collaboration between teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Subcontractor & Vendor Management: Negotiate contracts, oversee subcontractor performance, and ensure adherence to project specifications and deadlines.
- Client & Stakeholder Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and consultants, fostering strong working relationships.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent industry experience.
- Experience: 5 years of project management experience in commercial or multi-family construction, preferably with a leading general contractor.
- Software Proficiency: Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, and other construction.
