Data Center Construction Quality Manager Opportunity
Project location: Iowa
Metric Geo are partnered with a leader in Electrical Construction, they are looking for a Quality Manager to join their Data Center projects in the Mid-west. They have multiple projects in Iowa and Southern Indiana.
This role would consider travelling candidates and offers a per diem with flights home as part of the package.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform site inspections to ensure adherence to established quality standards.
- Develop, implement, and manage internal quality assurance programs for construction projects.
- Analyze and address non-conformance issues by conducting root cause investigations and implementing corrective measures.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, testing results, and identified deficiencies.
- Collaborate with project teams, senior leadership, and subcontractors to resolve quality concerns effectively.
- Design and deliver training programs informed by Quality KPIs, ensuring team alignment on quality objectives.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on project quality metrics, including areas of high risk.
- Lead meetings with clients and subcontractors to establish and reinforce quality expectations.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years in construction management or quality management.
- At least 5 years of experience in Construction Quality Management or Auditing.
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent trade experience.
- Preferred certifications: ISO 9001 or US Army Corps of Engineers Quality Management.
Skills:
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, Bluebeam, and Procore software.
- Strong analytical thinking, effective communication, and sound decision-making skills.
- Expertise in interpreting blueprints and construction specifications.
Salary : $100,000 - $150,000
