Metric Search is actively representing a fast-growing, family & employee-owned Engineering operation, which is looking to hire an experienced yet ambitious Regional Manager for its growing Charlotte office in North Carolina.
This client is an established name within the Water & Wastewater Engineering industry; an 800-employee operation, with more than 40 years’ experience serving regional and local municipal clients throughout the South-East.
They are a niche operation with sufficient horsepower and resources to compete with industry-leading competitors, whilst maintaining their regional focus and specialty – giving rise to opportunities to not only work on a wide array of cool and innovative projects, but also the opportunity to wear numerous hats and subsequently find your best fit within these projects!
Having doubled in scale and workforce over the last decade, this client is now looking to hire an experienced Regional Manager to head up their growing Charlotte office. Reporting into the Mid-Atlantic Director and newly hired Water Group Manager, we are looking for someone who is passionate about personal growth and has an eagerness to be actively involved in industry-leading projects.
This is a perfect position for anyone that is looking to take that next step up from their current role and increase responsibilities, with a sustained growth path opening doors to even more senior roles and responsibilities in the not-too-distant future as they continue to grow.
Your responsibilities:

Preferences & Requirements:
- 18 years’ Water/Wastewater Engineering industry experience required
- PE licence required for the state of North Carolina (or able to acquire this within 6 months)
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred (Engineering – Civil/Environmental/Structural/Chemical/Mechanical)
- Project management experience preferred – particularly client-facing
